Apple Learning Academy - Day One
What a HUGE day packed full of culture, resources, design, and sharing with colleagues. The first day of Apple Learning Academy began with breakfast at 7:30 and sessions kicking off at 8:00. We wrapped up at 4:30 and were quite saturated with brains full of knowledge and inspiration.
Since we were in Cupertino, we walked en masse up the street to 1 Infinite Loop where we picked up some cool Apple merch. The Apple Learning Academy experience is exceptional in every way. There's already so much to consider and share when we return to our work environments.
Three takeaways from Day 1:
- Culture is key.
- Leadership requires vision. Powerful resources from Apple (Innovation in Schools, Elements of Leadership, Elements of Learning, and Research for Educators) can help navigate through your journey.
- There's so much experience and expertise in the room. Colleagues are the best resource!
