ANZ Summit 24, Sydney

I feel incredibly privileged to have had the opportunity to attend the ANZ Summit 24 in Sydney. I was chatting to a few people and the overriding theme was gratitude for the experience, and reminding ourselves not to take it for granted. To end it all with a visit to the Apple Foundation program at UTS was brilliant- it would be great to get this opportunity for New Zealand students!

We were sent a journal for our reflections. It is such a simple idea, but I loved having everything in one place. So, instead of writing about my experiences and learnings, I am attaching my completed Journal.

Thank you to all who made this experience so rewarding. This includes all the Apple staff and of course, the talented educators who continue to inspire and share their ideas so willingly.

Please see a copy of my Pages Journal below, yours to share in the inspiring stories of ADEs and ALCs.

Linda - I love how you collected the the whole conference experience into the Pages journal! Super idea for conferences and institutes. Gives a holistic look at the learning provided and one place to “re-visit” the Summit and see the ideas in context.

Thank you, Cheryl, for always finding the time to read and comment. And I agree, I love the idea of "re-visiting" conference learnings.

Mary, it was great to reconnect with you. I agree, the Tom Barrett "Building Thriving Communities" is so relevant for us all. As is AI 😁

Linda

It was such a treat to see you at the Summit and thank you for sharing your reflections. I think I am still processing the whole experience! You have captured the essence of the event and the privilege it has been to attend and connect with like minded people.

'Building Thriving Communities' from Tom Barrett to enhance our students' skills is high on the agenda as well as ensuring accessibility for all students, as we head back to school for the new term... (with a little AI for good measure 😉)
