Using Apple Intelligence to build relatable class personas/ heroes

Last year I worked with a wonderful group of students who built a class hero using Memoji. This Memoji represented a challenge, a big idea, some struggles and characteristics they felt teens face.

This character was called Zoe. Throughout the year she was used in their class projects as a character they talked through and a character that faced some mental health struggles. They used this fictional characters story and build a mental health app that she and other teens might use. When creating their Memoji Zoe had specific identifying features such as a hearing air and glasses, which represented the group and some of their peers.

You can read more about their story here.

Fast forward a year and we started creating the new persona for a different challenge with a new group. This year the Memoji is male, looks a lot different to Zoe but faces his own challenges. However, one year on not only do we have a Memoji but we also have Genmoji and Image Playground which gives this class a whole new creative outlet for their character. When we created the memoji we then used Image Playground to place this new character in various scenes in his day to day life. From his part-time job in a pizza shop, to his school, sports and more. As this group continues with this new character and these new challenges Genmoji and Image Playground provide a new creative outlet making this new character more relatable than ever as their hero.

I love the class hero idea Miriam! Super way to bring a class together and add another tool for social and emotional support. How cool that you were able to move from Memoji to Genmoji via Apple Image Playground - a fun way to add backgrounds and activities for the Genmoji as the class works together to develop their character. Thanks for the share!
