Sunshine's shades

Sunshine’s shades 💛- In Kinder 1A, everything turned yellow — not by accident, but by curiosity.

Our little explorers grabbed their iPads and stepped out into a color adventure, ready to find yellow everywhere.

As an Apple Teacher, I watched their eyes light up each time they spotted something new — a chair, a flower, a little piece of sunshine on the floor. Inside and outside the classroom, they learned to use the iPad camera with purpose: to observe, capture, and appreciate the world around them.

It was more than just taking pictures — it was learning to see. 🌞

Through this experience, they:

  1. Practiced using the iPad camera as a learning tool.
  2. Identified and reinforced yellow color through real-world exploration.
  3. Discovered that technology helps them notice details they’d never seen before.

Digital skills developed:

  • Learning how to focus, frame, and take meaningful photos.
  • Using technology to explore and express curiosity.
  • Gaining autonomy while moving, searching, and observing with intention.
  •  Students learned to use the iPad camera with purpose — exploring functions such as focusing, framing, and capturing images with stability. They practiced tapping to focus, adjusting angles, and observing lighting conditions to improve their shots.

When we showed their photos on the board, the classroom filled with laughter, pride, and shades of sunshine. ☀️

Every picture told us a small story — a glimpse of how they see and celebrate the world.

Because sometimes, learning starts with something as simple (and as powerful) as finding a little bit of yellow.💛
