Practice Math concepts in a fun and engaging way while exploring the world of coding with Mini-Spheros in this STEM activity for early learners.
Making mini bot spots help students keep the sphero in a contained space and focus on moving the bot around a maze or in this case moving the bot to knock down towers with coins.
I used a clear plastic cup to put on top of the bot with our school mascot attached so that as the students were "driving the bot" they were better able to control where it was going.
Use real, plastic, or paper coins to attach to the block towers to set up in the mini area for the bots to knock down.
What other Math concepts might work well with this activity idea?
Tower blocks were purchased at Dollar Tree, but you could also check out second hand shops and garage sales for Jenga blocks to use.
