This project showcases a dragon illustration and animation created primarily in Apple Keynote, demonstrating how a presentation app can become a creative canvas for digital art and storytelling. The artwork explores the thoughtful application of the elements of art—line, shape, colour, texture, form, space, and value—together with the principles of design, including balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, rhythm, unity, and proportion, to bring the dragon to life through engaging visual animation.
The completed animation was exported from Keynote and refined in iMovie, where transitions, timing, and audio were added to enhance the final presentation.
I had the privilege of presenting this project at the Apple Worldwide Learning Summit 2022, and I am delighted to share it once again with the Apple Learning Community Forum in 2026. I hope it inspires fellow educators and learners to explore the creative possibilities of Apple tools in art, design, and digital storytelling.
