Apple Classroom and Shared iPads

I support a school where the learners use a MacBook Air, and occasionally use an iPad off of a shared iPad cart. When a learner checks out an iPad, they sign in with their school-managed Apple ID, and then sign out of the iPad when they are done. Recently the iPads had to be reimaged due to storage and other issues (I have noticed we are not the only ones with these issues.)

Since the reimage, none of the shared iPads show up in Apple Classroom for the educators, even though they did in the past. Is there something I should look at to make sure it is in the profiles on the iPads or anything else. The learners are still showing up when they use their MacBooks, just not when they are on a shared iPad.

Thanks!

Hi DianaLyn,

I'd recommend reaching out to your school's dedicated Apple SE to gather more information about this situation and explore solutions. You can find out who your Apple SE is by calling 1-800-800-2775 and choose option 4 to get connected with your school's Apple sales team.

Best,

Dominique
