Primary School: Can some Exercise Books be replaced with Digital Journals on Pages?

 Hi,

I work in Year 6 in a very fortunate primary school where the children have 1:1 iPads. We are starting to think about digitising some of our exercise books. I am currently working with my Year 6 class on a digital RE book using the Pages digital journal template. I've put an example of my front cover below.

We usually produce a mixed media outcome for each lesson: sometimes it is a video, photos with captions, sketches, handwritten or typed text etc.

Does anyone have any experience of this and does anyone have any advice on how this could work well / any pitfalls we may come across?

Thanks!

The front cover I gave the children to use as an example for their own.
