What I’ve noticed is that Flyovers and Flyover Tours are technically different. The list with Flyovers shows cities that have 3D images. I make my own Flyover tours from those by using the iPad screencast feature. That way students can pick what part of a city they want to feature. In Flyover “tours,” a pre-done tour is already part of Maps.
Hopefully they’ll add Flyover Tours to cities in Mexico soon.
By the way, there is a very fun Maps activity post I just read: “Harmony Day Activity using Guides in Maps and Keynote” with a cool download that you might like.
Has anyone else noticed that Flyovers for Mexican cities are not available in Apple Maps? I have checked all the Mexican cities on the list at https://www.apple.com/ios/feature-availability/#maps-flyover and none of them showed up today. When checking cities in other countries, all that were listed were available.
