Safe space where people are encouraged to try new things and make mistakes which they learn from. This all starts with trust.

To belong to a network of like-minded people that you can check in with and ask advice from and help fill your cup!😊🥤

To me, community means having a sense of belonging to a place and to a group of people where I feel safe, respected and supported.

Community is a safe space where teams and groups of people with similar beliefs and values are able to come together to use their diverse skill sets as they collaborate and work towards a shard vision.

Community is a place or group where you can be supported and you can support others. There is a give and take.

When I think about what it means for my school, the community is where our students will end up so we need to create strong connections before they leave. It is essential to help students find their place and foster independence in their community while we can support them.

Having a shortcut of language where we all are on the same page looking for a better solution.

It is like going to the bar in Cheers.

Community is a group of people that share common beliefs, interests, collective wisdom, practices galvanized by trust.

Being amongst people who respect the conversation. Offer responses that can at times deepen the understanding or enable reflection to look at it from a different angle.

• Leadership is about perspective- take pieces away, sharing, diving deeper

Communities provide us with a sense of belonging and identity. It consists of a space of shared goals and values and provides us with support systems to help us navigate through different aspects.

We are part of many communities, our school community which consists of students and staff, subject area communities, secondary teacher communities and even the apple educator communities. They constant and continuous.

Community is a group of people of all ages working together towards a common goal or idea. Their power is in sharing collective knowledge and experiences.

Thinking about the ADE communities it is having the ability to discuss issues, ideas and inspiration with critical friends in a safe environment

Reciprocal collaboration with critical friends, representing a diversity of experiences, ideas, innovations and beliefs.

Communities exist wherever we are. As teachers, we are members of numerous communities - school, local area, family, local sporting groups - and we can draw from those communities, and contribute to them. A community is anyone who works with us, sharing a common set of values and vision. What we get out of our communities will depend largely on how much we are willing to contribute to them.

Community, to me, signifies belonging to a tribe where we support each other ranging from being each others sounding board to collaborators or sharing positive vibes and cheering each other on to achieve our goals.

I am so grateful to be part of the ADE community.
