Browsing the Forum

There’s a lot to do and see in the Forum. Browsing makes it easy to sort through content and find the things that interest you.

Start by tapping “Browse” at the top-right of any Forum page. This will take you to a page that shows all Forum posts. From here, you can narrow it down by using filters, like post type and post author.

Choose Discussions to see question-and-answer posts. If you see a green check mark icon next to a post, that means the question has been answered. Tap the Type sub-filter to see only solved or only unsolved questions, and tap Areas to find discussions about specific topics.

Choose Resources to find practical tools, like templates and other documents that you can use in your own lessons and workflows. The Areas sub-filter helps you find resources within specific topic areas.

Choose Stories to see inspirational posts and success stories to spark ideas for your own teaching and learning. Use the Areas sub-filter to connect with stories about topics that matter most to you.

You can also filter by post author by selecting People. This will show you a list of Community members, and you can filter these results further by Institution Type and Country to find posts that are even more relevant to your teaching practice.

Other ways to filter content are by date — latest activity versus when the post was created — and user name within People. You can also refer to the eye and speech bubble icons to see how may members have viewed and commented on each post.

Once you’ve selected a filter, you can go back to see All Content anytime by tapping Reset to return to the original view.

TIP

If you’re looking for something specific, you can tap the magnifying glass icon at the very top of any Forum page and type a keyword into the Search field. This will show you content related to your search term.
