Pedagogical practices when teaching digital technologies

Sharing this graphic that I developed to help teachers when teaching explicit technology skills. This came out of a need to help teachers build confidence when teaching, and also for students to develop skills without the teacher or other students "jumping in" to save them. We have read really good feedback on these so far, particularly around the driver and co-pilot concept and asking smart questions.

The A3 poster is in more detail, and the A4 version is a summary. Feel free to use!

So glad you like it. Hope your students find it useful. We also made videos of these strategies in our Taking Flight with iPad books.

This looks awesome! Thanks for sharing. I love the idea of empowering students to develop their skills without the teacher or by being rescued by their friends. I'll definitely be using it with other teachers.
