Marching Band Adjudication Worksheet Template - Please Share With Your Band Directors

A Great Resource for Band Directors and Adjudicators

I have served on adjudication panels for marching band contests for many years and have developed a Numbers worksheet that helps me to keep track of my scores and prevents me from making numerical errors. It is fairly simple but is easily customizable for each unique adjudication system. Having a basic template such as this saves lots of time.

Please share this document with any band director colleagues at your schools. They might be able to use it themselves and/or include the template in an email to prospective adjudicators.

💡 For those who host marching band contests and would like to take this further...wouldn't it be nice to use the COLLABORATE feature with a new Sheet for each caption if all adjudicators had iPads? It would eliminate the need for a dedicated tabulator (but might require on-site tech support for those new to the iPad) and could render a full recap sheet in the end (with modification and further development of the template of course).

Hmmm...I would love to see how this might play out!
