"Can Do" Review Poetry Journal
"We Can Do it!" My ELL early learners love to chant this positive mantra daily in my classroom. We believe that we Can Do any kind of learning tasks presented by the teacher. In this "Can Do" Review learning journal students demonstrate how they can: compose, concentrate, color, connect, capture, consume, communicate, create, and compile clues. I designed these blended learning tasks around our Poems of the week to incorporate literacy and language learning. In each Can Do review poetry journal students complete the multimodal learning tasks to show what they know about our Poem. Each of the Memoji children featured on Page 2 are linked to one of the activities, allowing students the choice of the order in which they will complete each task. I have attached an example of one of our journals about Shapes!
