One of my first initiatives as a technology pedagogy coach was to run mini sessions for teachers on the different modes of communication that the Apple apps facilitate.
During one of these sessions I showcased some of the different ways line-draw animation in Keynote and pages can be used in the classroom to enhance learning. I then went on to teach teachers how to use this simple tool.

Thanks for sharing, Sarah. Some great examples here. I am currently coaching teachers to use different animation styles for teaching and learning. An extra example I have included is the use of line drawing to show the journey taken by the ‘First Fleet’ (Australian History). A simple and effective way to model a journey. Students can level up with voice recording or drop into iMovie and add music.

Such fun animations and lesson! I love that you incorporated Maps - nice prompts! The rainforest drawing - very cool! Thanks for the slides and great ideas on animations.
