This was really helpful in seeing the potential of Freeform. It’s kind of overwhelming, so this was great! Thank you!

Managing Workflow with Freeform
Last week, I had the chance to play around with Freeform. I absolutely LOVE its potential for collaboration and creativity - and I have so many ideas for how the students and teachers on my campus can make use of it. One of the ideas I pursued was turning a teacher-created, view-only Freeform board into a space for curating digital materials and organizing students' workflow throughout a unit. Once I started building this prototype - I couldn't help but run with it!

Great idea. Just looking at Freeform and initially wondered how is this different than numbers, but the ability to add files to that is awesome. I really like the idea of instead of sending teachers/students a folder with various activities you can use Freeform to create a virtual choice board of activities that can be done. I designed a variety of keynotes that imitate social media platforms but sharing out a folder to staff members to look at is not as appealing as using Freeform.
@Plahnb I had those same thoughts initially! Numbers was always my go-to for using a digital whiteboard, but Freeform also has so much more Zoom and can be expanded in all different directions rather than just right/down like Numbers. And I agree - I think being able to add files to Freeform is a game changer!
Thanks for sharing! This is a great way to use Freeform. I see this being really helpful in a group planning sessions where ideas can be added, expanded upon, adjusted etc.

Very clever idea - using Freeform to guide student workflow! Appreciate you showing us how this would work using your Civil War unit.
