Digital Storytelling
Our class has been working on finding how we might visually tell the adventures of characters. After reading multiple versions of the Gingerbread Man, Kindergarten students began to create story maps for each book. Students then collaborated in groups to create their own story of the Gingerbread Man deciding their characters, setting, problems and solutions. Students determined the media they would use to create their story. Groups used Sketches, Book Creator, Keynote, Stop Motion, ScratchJr and Bee Bots to share the adventures of their Gingerbread Man.

These student examples? They just warm my heart. So often Kinder students are underestimated. I love how different each story is, and how the tool the groups choose really gave a unique element to each project!
Thanks for the great ideas.
