Sharing Reminders Lists between Managed Apple IDs and Personal accounts

Question:

I have enabled the ASM option that allows our managed Apple IDs to share content outside of our domain. I can shared iCloud Drive folders and Notes folders with personal Apple IDs, but it doesn't seem to work with Reminders. (This page isn't overly detailed about what is and is not shareable.) The invite is sent, but an error is reported when trying to accept the invite. The behavior is the same regardless of where the sharing initiates. Has anyone had success sharing reminder lists between managed and regular Apple IDs?

(All devices have been updated to iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and MacOS 13 Ventura, but the same issue existed for iOS/iPadOS 15.x and macOS 12.x devices.)

Hi Michael,

According to the information you have provided, this should work as long as devices are update to the latest release. Please contact AppleCare and your Apple Systems Engineer to escalate this issue. You can find out who your Apple SE is by calling 1-800-800-2775 and choose option 4 to get connected with your school's Apple sales team.
