Language Translation Project

Students in our "Around the World" themed summer camp had tons of fun learning a new language by using translate apps and keynote to talk about themselves. They would insert pictures of things that relate to themselves, and then translate a sentence from English, e.g. "I'm from..." into the target language. They would then practice saying it and record themselves in Keynote. After students finish their own Keynote creation, they would show it to the whole class by casting mirror screening in class. In addition, students were given the choice to do their project in a different language that they find interesting, especially if they can already speak the target language for that day.
