Indigenous Language Initiative Using Keynote as a Video

https://education.apple.com/learning-center/T022007A Our School Created Videos using Keynote as an Indigenous language initiative. During Indigenous Language Month in March, our School’s Apple Tech Leadership Team organized a special contest to celebrate Kanien’keha (Mohawk) language. They used a Keynote to make a slideshow and export to videos. First, they chose a theme in Keynote, then added pictures, wrote the Kanien’keha word, and used audio recording to say it. They made the slides and content in the slides change automatically with fun animations. After finishing, they exported the Keynote into a video and put it on YouTube. They even made QR codes with Apple Shortcuts, so everyone in the school could watch the videos easily! The class that found all the Kanien’keha words and then recorded themselves saying the words using an Apple app would win a prize! It was a super fun way to encourage students to use the language!

What a wonderful idea to share learning in such an authentic way, Jessica! 🤩

I love the addition of the QR codes to make the videos more easily accessible for everyone in the school!
