Our teachers would like to use more powerful presentation tools. Keynote is a great resource to use in the classroom when giving some direct instruction and can also be used in a variety of other ways. Some tools allow for some hybrid style learning. Keynote can also work seamlessly with Pages and Numbers. Lastly, Keynote also allows for more movement in the classroom if you have both a laptop and iPad, which allows the teacher to act more as a facilitator instead of being restricted to one area in the classroom.
Hi Jessica! Thank you so much for your comment. When I was teaching fifth grade, my students would run a 40yd dash and record the data in groups. They would then create tables and graphics of this information and present using Keynote. They loved the activity, but now that I am out of the classroom, I am trying to encourage other educators to begin using Keynote in the classroom with students to express their learning in creative ways.

Thanks for sharing these slides as a helpful resource! Keynote can definitely make presenting material more engaging and effective through the use of transitions and can untether teachers from the front of the room through the use of the remote feature. Have you also explored ways that students could use Keynote to spark creativity and demonstrate their learning?
