Multiple Representations

Second graders use this template to document place value learning in their math class. They build with place value blocks and discs and write on their desks with Expo markers. They take pictures with their iPad to document their work. (Students can type the standard, word, and expanded forms and use Keynote shapes to create place value blocks. We prefer our students to have an authentic hands-on experience and use the camera to "show their work.")

Thanks for sharing this template! The camera is such a simple yet powerful tool for documenting learning!

I love the use of camera, such an underused app.
