Geometry with Pages

Pages is a great way for students to use their creative side to explore concepts and present their ideas. In this example, I had my students use Pages to show what they know about types of angles. They had the choice to use the shapes or objects that are built into Pages, or they could have used their iPad camera to take pictures of objects they found around the classroom. Once they had their four different objects/shapes, they used the drawing tool to trace the different angles in their shape and label them as acute, obtuse, or right. They then recorded their voice explaining each shape and the angles they found in their shape.

This same template can be used to have students point out sides, vertices, parallel lines, perpendicular lines, and the list goes on!
