Animate Flower Pollination with Keynote

If you teach plant pollination to young learners, here is a fun resource and activity.

Step #1 - Read the book Flower Talk: How Plants Use Color to Communicate by Sara Levine.

Step #2 - Download the "Flower Talk Activity" and share it with students.

Step #3 - Share the pollination example with students.

Step #4 - Teach students to copy and paste the pollinators.

Step #5 - Teach students to animate the pollinators to visit the flowers.

Step #6 - Allow time for students to add pollinators and animations to each slide. The tricky part . . . students need to put the appropriate pollinator with the appropriate flower cover as discussed in the book.

Thanks for sharing this template! It's a great way for students to demonstrate their understanding. They could even add audio buttons to each slide to record their thinking as they match the appropriate pollinator to each flower color.
