I wanted to share a creative idea that I was able to develop using the ‘Everyone Can Create Projects.‘ The idea that I found to be very engaging for young learners is the ‘Tell a story using one photo’ lesson idea. I especially like this one as in Pre K, many students struggle with retelling stories, however, storytelling through photos reinforces the big idea. Also worth noting is the fact that photos help solidify memories and can give children a connection to their heritage as well as their community. It is engaging and this learning experience can help students to take ownership of their story.

I really like this idea! Super for pre-k. Expanding on it for older students (Yes and..), that one photo story could be integrated into Clips for some fun animations and live text. I think I’ll try it. Thanks!
