Thanks Shawna. I have a music teacher, art, and science teacher working together. Students learned about recycling, then the music teacher had the students recycle sounds found around the school and make music in garage band, then the art teacher worked with an artist and had the students make table top creations with recycled objects representing their ‘’islands’’. Then they scanned the islands for 7 worlds… , and the music students added this to the 3D envirionment. On the day they invite the community, they will walk through the 3d environments made up of recycled junk, hear this music, and see posters in the world made in Canva talking about what they learned, then they will make it though a passage leading to a nature inspired world and hear music made with nature sounds… and again posters will explain the journey and student’s voices can be heard here and there explaining what they learned in science, music and art class. I also have a student making her own 3D model to explain layers of skin…

I love this idea! I feel like there are so many students who could benefit from a virtual meditation space - especially if they are unable to have a similar space set up in their classroom. It can be such a powerful tool to have students connect it to something they learned, and then have the community be invited to explore! Thanks for sharing!
