I'm excited to share that my first book in print is now available!
I wrote it to help educators solve some of the biggest challenges in education today: low student engagement and artificial intelligence. The book provides an evidence-based, classroom-tested road map to help teachers leverage students’ natural sense of curiosity to energize their classrooms through student-created digital storytelling projects--what I like to call multimedia research projects. Building on what teachers already do best, I offer advice for teachers to integrate project-based story challenges in every subject area and grade level.
Many Apple Distinguished Educators contributed ideas to the book or are featured, including Jodie Deinhammer, Leah Lacrosse, Karrin Burns, Karen Bosch, Dan Ryder, Don Goble, and Monica Burns.
You can pick up a copy wherever you buy books, or contact my publisher, ISTE, for volume discounts. I can't wait to hear what you think!

Congratulations Michael! Extremely impressive and makes me want to be “back in the classroom” again. And congrats also to all the outstanding ADEs who contributed ideas. I’ve been following your shared stories on writing this book - and I’m so proud of your efforts and your outcome.
