Using Keynote to Animate Lunar Phases

#DPTech #DPJHTech

Keynote is a wonderful platform that students can use to create animations that demonstrate understanding of topics. One example is using the shapes found in Keynote and Magic Move to create an animation showing lunar cycles. I had students show the view from Earth for the lunar phase and what the position of the Sun, Earth, and Moon were to create that view. Students only used Shapes in Keynote to create all of the images. Students can then export their Keynote as a GIF image.

A template and an example GIF animation are attached.
