Students use the template to identify and draw out the 2D shapes provided. Students first drag the correct shape into the black box and then draw the shape in the white box. Shapes included are: circle, square, rhombus, triangle, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, and trapezoid. An extension to the activity would be for students to record their voices saying the name of the shape on each slide. English and Spanish template are provided. #DPtech

I love this idea! I think the extension of them adding an audio recording is amazing. I find that when I have students talk about their thinking, it helps them remember.
