Ecological Succession with iMovie and Minecraft (Education)

My 8th grade students had to create projects demonstrating their understanding of ecological succession. They could pick between primary or secondary. Some students chose to create a minecraft world that showed each of the stages after an event. They would take screenshots and put them into iMovie and either narrate or caption what is happening. My gamers and minecrafters enjoyed creating this project.

Great way to get students involved by using Minecraft to help students tell the story of succession. As a former biology teacher, it is a great idea.
