Apple Clips Project for Understanding

I like using this project in a math setting as it stands as a way for students to demonstrate their conceptual understanding of a topic. I always tell them that if you can teach a concept to another person and have them understand, then that is a good indicator to you as well of your own understanding of the concept. Students use the Clips app to create short videos of them teaching a previously learned concept. It provides them an avenue to be creative in their learning and allows me to assess their understanding in a way that lies outside of grading practice problems.
