Next Level Pages

Here are some ideas for creating activity sheets in Pages. Because I’m in a 1:1 iPad school, I recommend using a landscape format because that’s how students view their iPad screen.

  1. Make and publish a page layout template
  2. Note-taking and annotating
  3. Using image galleries
  4. Tracing and drawing
  5. Image placeholders (for field work)
  6. Animated drawings
  7. Web video

Download the Pages document to view the various ideas that I suggest to my fellow teachers, and feel free to adapt any of the pages to your own needs.

David, Thanks for sharing! This is a great resource to set up a Pages document to guide student learning. Once I get a basic setup I like, I save it as a template in my template chooser so I can grab it later.

To save as a template on iPad, tap the share, then "Export & Send", and then "Pages Template".  From there you can save it to your template chooser.

On Mac, In the Pages document, click "File", then "Save as Template".
