I recently discovered the ColorifyAI website which easily creates coloring pages using a simple prompt. This website is a great option for kids to use! Currently (as of 10/14/24) there is no login, no ads, no viewing of other people's creations (which sometimes are inappropriate for kids), and it is FREE! I love how simple this is which makes it perfect for student use!
When you enter the site, scroll down slightly and there is a very simple interface to enter your prompt. Results come quickly and are pretty good. It is easy to adjust your prompt if your first result isn't quite right. You can download your picture with a right click/control click on a computer or with a press and hold if you are on an iPad.
Students could have a lot of fun generating coloring pages of their favorite pets, hobbies, holidays, or locations. But this activity could also be a great way to enhance learning by asking students to create a page that illustrates a scene from a story or a topic they are learning in science or social studies.
Previously, I shared some other ideas and ways to create AI Coloring Pages in this post on the community (which includes some more options and prompting details): https://education.apple.com/story/250012305
Have you tried generating AI art coloring pages for or with your class? I would love for you to share in the comments your ideas of how you used them with your students.
