Capture, Create, and Inspire: Craft a Vision Board with Apple Clips & Pages

Refresh your teaching practice with creativity and purpose by designing a digital vision board for Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and goal setting! Using Apple Clips and Pages, empower students and teachers to visualize their goals while building SEL skills like self-awareness and self-management. Here’s a fun, step-by-step guide to get started:

🎥 Step 1: Gather Your Inspo with Apple Clips

1. Record Moments: Use Apple Clips to capture short videos or photos of inspiring things—your classroom, nature, books, or even a favorite quote.

2. Add Effects: Play around with fun stickers, filters, and text to personalize your clips.

3. Voice Your Goals: Use the voiceover feature to share why these moments are meaningful to you.

📝 Step 2: Build Your Vision Board in Pages

1. Choose a Template: Open Pages and select a poster or scrapbook-style template.

2. Add Your Media: Insert videos and photos from Clips directly into your Pages document.

3. Organize Your Vision: Arrange your visuals into themes like “Personal Growth,” “Career Goals,” or “Fun Adventures.”

4. Write It Out: Add captions, motivational quotes, or simple goals to accompany your images.

🎉 Step 3: Share Your Board with the World!🌍

1. Present Your Goals: Share your vision board with classmates or colleagues to spark inspiration.

2. Print or Save: Print your Pages vision board or save it as a digital file to keep your goals visible.

3. Review and Reflect: Revisit your board regularly to track your progress and celebrate small victories.

Pro Tip:  Teachers turn this into a classroom activity! Collaborate with peers to create a group vision board or challenge each other to achieve your goals.

Use this activity to spark conversations about perseverance, growth mindset, and celebrating small wins throughout the year!
