Enhancing Student Reflection with Keynote: A Ready-to-Use Template for Teachers

As educators, we know how valuable student reflections are in understanding their thought processes, creativity, and learning journey. To make this process more interactive and meaningful, I’ve designed a Keynote template that helps students visually document and articulate their reflections seamlessly.

How It Works

📸 Capture & Record: Students use the live camera (front and back) to capture their artwork, performance, or project directly in Keynote.

🎙 Screen Recording: They then use screen recording to describe their creation, explain their choices, and reflect on their learning.

💡 Learner Profile Integration: Teachers can select and add two IB Learner Profiles to the reflection, connecting student work to broader learning attributes.

Why This Matters

This template transforms reflections into powerful assessment tools, allowing teachers to hear students’ thoughts and evaluate understanding beyond written responses. It fosters creativity, agency, and deep learning connections.

💬 Try it out and let me know how you use it in your classroom!

This is pretty cool Ritika - sometimes a simple template sparks some great ideas. How do they record - put the Keynote into full screen and use screen recording?
