Aligned PLC Planning Tools for K-5 Educators

Our team developed a streamlined PLC planning tool to enhance collaboration and alignment across grade-level teams. Using Apple Numbers, we created a shared PLC document template for Kindergarten through 5th grade, ensuring that all PLCs operate efficiently while staying focused on our school-wide improvement goals.

Additionally, I designed a PLC Quick Guide in Apple Pages, which provides an easy-to-reference overview of the PDCA cycle to support teachers in achieving their PLC SMART goals. The Table of Contents feature in Pages allows for an organized and quick way to navigate the document, making it easy to access specific sections as needed. It also transfers seamlessly into PDF format for easy sharing and use.

These resources have helped our school structure effective, data-driven PLCs, and I’m excited to share them with fellow educators looking to enhance their collaborative planning!

This is a great template and plans of action, ejacobj274!

I particularly like the 3 subheadings in the 4th Step, ‘Act’:

  1. Refine the Plan
  2. Celebrate Successes
  3. Repeat the Cycle

So important, and often forgotten in any initiative! Great work! 🙌
