📚 iPads for Early Learners: Summer Academy Spotlight
This summer, I had the opportunity to lead a two-day iPad for Early Learners Summer Academy in my district to help our Early Learner Educators get set up for success before the new school year. Our goal was to ensure that iPads support creativity, accessibility, routines & independence from day one.
📆 What We Covered:
- Personalizing iPads for accessibility and learner needs
- Apple Classroom for management, transitions & grouping
- Seamless file workflows using Files + Google Drive
- Routines & Visuals to support classroom success
- Ready-to-use templates aligned with curriculum
- App deep-dives: Clips, Freeform, Keynote & Everyone Can Create
💡 Teachers explored Apple Education Community resources, adapted and shared lesson-ready templates, and collaborated to create a shared District Curriculum Aligned iPad Activity Library organized by subject area.
