Aligning Everyone Can Code with Ontario’s Kindergarten Curriculum

What does coding look like in Kindergarten?

In Ontario, it doesn’t start with screens. It starts with daily routines, patterns, and play.

Tina Zita and I been working on an Everyone Can Code – Early Learners document that intentionally aligns Apple’s Everyone Can Code activities with Ontario’s Kindergarten expectations, as well as extending coding skills to mathematics, language, self-regulation and well-being, and social skills.

When we recognize that these skills are already embedded in everyday activities, coding stops being an “extra” and becomes foundational.

If you're exploring curriculum-aligned ways to bring coding into Kindergarten, I'd love to connect.
