Pop Art Paintings

My students learned about the art movement, pop art. Their goal was to create a painting of a Lollipop that they have photographed using a still life/light source. Students used keynote and their Apple pencils to trace the highlights and shadows of their lollipops. They were able to use the dropper tool to select the actual color of the lollipop and the highlights and shadows as they appear on the lollipop. It made drawing from observation much easier.

Beautiful! What a creative way to use Keynote to build on learning an art concept! Thanks for sharing this great idea.
