Freeform Engages Creativity

I am a teacher at the Alternative Learning Academy, part of high school #D211. With the help of an Apple specialist and an instructional coach. We worked on using the Freeform app to engage students in a new, creative way. I used to think that creating posters or mind maps was limited to apps like pages or notability, but now I think Freeform can greatly increase the creativity in myself and my students. Most of my students did not know the app existed. Now they can express themselves and share their understanding in a new, fun way. The app is limitless and it was fun learning about its capabilities, as well as those of my students.

Freeform is wonderful. Look forward to seeing what your students can create. I think having the shapes easily available really levels up the way mind maps can be created to make ideas visual!

I love Freeform! You will have to share some examples of how you and your students are using it. I really do think there is so much scope within the app. Check out this post as a summary of its features. https://education.apple.com/resource/250011579

Here is another example of how Freeform could be used https://education.apple.com/resource/250011931

I could probably do another search to explore even more examples in the forum!

It really is great to see all the different ways that Freeform is being used. That is a great idea to use it to create posters; never thought of using it that way.
