iCan with Clips! - Video series to support learning at home
To support my early elementary English as a Second Language students learning outside of the classroom I have created a video series called "iCan with Clips". These are simple, teaching videos rolled out to students and parents through Family Connection and Communication platforms like Seesaw or ClassDojo. Students (and parents) watch the Clips video, supported in both English and Spanish, and learn about a literacy or phonics concept using the gradual release model. In the videos I demonstrate the learning, ask students to follow along with me on their at home device, then instruct them to complete an example or show was they know by creating a video or photo of their own. I have attached some examples of videos.
