Making Your Passions Pop: Martial Arts

I celebrated World Creativity and Innovation day by taking the challenge in the Making Your Passions Pop post. Using the Create Lessons That Pop project in the Learning Center, I chose to shine a light on my passion for the martial arts. I have been in the martial arts most of my life. As an individual that struggles with focus, the skills that I developed in the martial arts have helped me both as a learner and as a facilitator of learning. Martial arts gives me the ability to develop my mental focus, physical fitness, and inner peace.

A Pop Art image of myself breaking a board with a bubble above my head with a meditating, peace, and exercise emoji.

The Everyone Can Create Projects are excellent ways to get creativity flowing in the classroom. I love expressing myself through art. Creativity allows learners to connect to the learning on a personal level!

I encourage everyone to take the challenge and make your passions pop!

This is awesome! I love that it includes your action of breaking the board along with the thoughts that are taking place through the activity as well. This is a great idea for a Pop Art adaptation - Doing and Thinking.

This is well cool Chuck. My big question is are you aptly named or is your name a subconscious driver for you passion? :)

YES, Chuck! 🙌🏻 This is 💯 so you AND I love the personal connection and story behind the creation. Looking forward to seeing your comic book superhero version next! #EveryoneCanCreate
