Inspiring Little Artists: Turning Book Covers into Digital Masterpieces!

When our curious pre-K artists selected their favorite insect books, they took inspiration straight from the covers and used the Sketches app on iPads to draw vibrant digital versions of the bugs they saw. From bright butterflies to tiny ants, their digital artwork showcased not only creativity but also a deeper connection to the books they explored.

This fun and artistic activity turned book selection into a hands-on learning experience, blending technology with creativity and giving students a unique way to express their understanding of informational text. It’s amazing how a simple sketch can bring a book cover to life and ignite a love for learning!

Very fun and colorful idea! The little learners needed to study the insects closely in order to replicate it in the sketches drawings, practicing the skills of observation. Thanks for the share!
