The ugly Duckling

After listening to and discussing the story in class, the students were invited to reflect on their favorite part of the tale and express their ideas through digital art. Using their iPads and Draw and Tell app, each student created a drawing that represented the scene, character, or moment they enjoyed the most from the story.

Before beginning the activity, in class we talked about the most relevant ideas presented in The Ugly Duckling, such as kindness, friendship, self-acceptance, and understanding differences. The students shared their opinions about the characters and described the parts of the story that made them feel happy, surprised, or excited.
