Pages - Digital Activity Books (DABs)

Hi Guys,

I have introduced DABs in school. I'm a Religious, Morality and Philosophy teacher and i wanted to spruce up our resources and make as interactive as possible.

DABs are meant to replace the traditional jotter and textbook combo with a single digital resource the pupils record on so at the end of the term they have a complete collection of the work in a fluid combination with the textbook resource. My first attempt was Judaism. The challenge take a 4000 year old content and make it cool, and relevant for today.

I was also acutely aware i have pupils with ASN needs in my class, so to create something which could differentiate for ability was key (Like using voice recording to answer questions rather than writing/typing)

I'm still not convinced they are the finished article, but pupils have really been engaged in learning since i introduced them.

Would value any thoughts, ideas or improvements you would make!

I like that your students will have a complete collection of the work they’ve done in your class. Having it digitally in a Pages book will make it easy for them to re-visit later for study, review and to use in future projects. Also super that Pages can be differentiated depending on student needs as you said. Really good idea!
