You can prepare presenter notes for each slide, then practice delivering your presentation with Rehearse Slideshow. Rehearsing allows you to master your content and use notes as reminders instead of reading from the slides.
Add presenter notes. Tap View View button at the top of the screen, then turn on Show Presenter Notes.
Tap a slide in the slide navigator, then type your notes in the presenter notes area below the slide. When you’re done, tap Hide Keyboard button.
Rehearse a presentation. Tap More Options button, then tap Rehearse Slideshow.
Change the layout. Tap Layout button, then tap Current and Notes to display the current slide and your presenter notes side by side. Tap Close button to end your rehearsal.
Present on your iPad. Tap the slide you want to start your presentation with, then tap Play button. Tap or swipe to advance through your slides.
Draw on a slide as you present. Tap and hold on the slide to reveal drawing tools. Select a color, then use your finger to highlight important words or areas of an image onscreen.
Simplify the information on your slides. Move excessive or lengthy text to presenter notes so your audience listens more carefully to what you say.
Rehearse presentations and keep track of elapsed time. Tap to change the clock in Rehearse Slideshow to a timer, then rehearse your presentation to see which slides you can deliver more succinctly.
To show your presentation on a separate screen, connect your device to an external display, a projector, or Apple TV with AirPlay. Your slides will play on the connected screen and the presenter display will appear on your iPad screen.
