Clips: Sharing

Work with projects and share your video.

Knowing how to rename, duplicate, and delete video projects is an essential skill, especially as you make more videos. When you’re ready to share your video, you have options to select, such as screen orientation and aspect ratio. You also have the option to export your video as a project file to share with collaborators.

Try it.

Apply it.

  • Work like a pro — duplicate and rename a video project to preserve a version of it before continuing to edit. Before you duplicate your project, add “v1” to the name so you know which one is the first version.

  • Export a video project that students can use as a template. Create a new video project, record a common beginning to the video, then rename it with a useful name like “Assignment Template.” Add posters as prompts or checkpoints. Export the video project, then share the project file.

Go further.

It’s helpful to know how to export and transfer video projects from one device to another. You can pass the project to a colleague, work on a different-sized device, or free up storage on your device.
