Suno AI - using AI to iInspire Creativity in Literacy and The Arts.

Our student have been LOVING using Suno AI to create their own original musical compositions (with a little help from Suno AI to make it come to life..).

The Hook - exploration of Suno AI
As a hook, we used the simple function and students input ideas and let Suno generate a waiata for them. The next step was to write a poem (rhyming or not) based on an experience or an emotion. Create at least 5 verses, with an optional chorus.

We talked about poems / songs telling a story, and how each verse should link to, and follow on from the one before to build the imagery of what they want to portray. I have never seen our ākonga so invested in completing a piece of poetry!

The only rule - use Custom and upload your own lyrics. The words must be 100% the work of the students. And AI takes care of the rest. Our students haven't stopped asking for another session since. Check out the great example attached below.
