Six-word Story Reflection with Clips

Our students used clips to reflect on a unit. They were tasked with responding to the following question in just six words: How might we evolve with our rapidly changing world so that we can flexibly learn, unlearn, and relearn the necessary skills for success? To complete the assignment, students worked in Clips and were given the option to Sketchnote in another app and import the image or use the built-in text and posters. Additionally, students generated a voiceover to verbally explain the six-word response.

*Our school district has a Pathways to Teaching program (P-TEACH). We partner with CU Denver so that our high school students and paraprofessionals can earn college credit. This year, as part of a new STEM secondary pathway, we created three courses: STEM Methods, Digital Teaching and Learning (Digital Storytelling), and Makerspace Design Lab. All of these incorporate iPad use, elements of Everyone Can Create, and Swift coding with a focus on innovation #StVrainPTEACH

Clips is a great program and your students did a great job creating some short videos using the narration and text together. Great job!
