Hello teachers! I'm thrilled to introduce myself and discuss the work I'm doing to teach digital literacy to seniors. I've designed a course titled "iPhone For Seniors" and I'm beginning to teach it at several locations in San Diego, including community centers, libraries and an adult school (the adult school has a healthy seniors education program).
- I've been using Apple products since the 90s
- I was an elementary school teacher for nearly 10 years (Chicago and NYC public schools)
- I have a Master in Education (Bank Street Graduate School of Education)
- I was in tech for 25 years, and had an app in the App Store
One objective I have is to apply for grants that will help me buy equipment that I can use in my classrooms, particularly low-cost laptops or tablets - so that my students can all be on the same device as they are introduced to my e-learning courses.
You can learn more about my work at: your-tech-tutor.com
Sincerely,
Sergi Bosch
